My weekends usually consist of spending time with friends, relaxing, eating good food and watching sports. If you're like me in this regard, I imagine you have some intense plans for a get together this weekend with your nearest and dearest. Before you exhaust yourself trying to plan an elaborate line up of food, consider a fan favorite, chicken wings. 

I should warn you, this recipe is a bit labor intensive with a long list of steps. OK, not really. These wings have all of 3 steps and involve the use of a slow cooker, so they're quite the opposite. Since it's the weekend,  you should be able to stuff your face without spending hours in the kitchen!

Slow Cooker Teriyaki Kick Chicken Wings
Make up a batch of Slow Cooker Teriyaki Kick Chicken Wings for the easiest appetizer you can imagine! Perfect for game day or gatherings, these Soy Free, Sugar Free wings will be a favorite.
Ingredients
  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1/4 cup coconut aminos
  • 1 tbs sesame oil
  • 1 tbs raw honey *OPTIONAL
  • 1 1/2-2 tbs hot sauce
  • 1/2 tbs coconut oil, butter or ghee
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
1. Rinse chicken wings with cold water and pat dry with a paper towel. Place in slow cooker.2. In a separate bowl, mix all ingredients together. Then pour over the chicken wings.3. Cook on low for 6-8 hours until fully cooked and slightly crispy. Sprinkle sesame seeds lightly on top before serving.
