My weekends usually consist of spending time with friends, relaxing, eating good food and watching sports. If you're like me in this regard, I imagine you have some intense plans for a get together this weekend with your nearest and dearest. Before you exhaust yourself trying to plan an elaborate line up of food, consider a fan favorite, chicken wings.
I should warn you, this recipe is a bit labor intensive with a long list of steps. OK, not really. These wings have all of 3 steps and involve the use of a slow cooker, so they're quite the opposite. Since it's the weekend, you should be able to stuff your face without spending hours in the kitchen!
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1/4 cup coconut aminos
- 1 tbs sesame oil
- 1 tbs raw honey *OPTIONAL
- 1 1/2-2 tbs hot sauce
- 1/2 tbs coconut oil, butter or ghee
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- sesame seeds for garnish
