We just got back from a week long vacation of doing basically nothing and it was amazing. We spent part of our week in a cabin in Tellico Plains, TN which is basically the middle of nowhere (seriously) and the next part in a cabin Black Mountain, NC, right near Asheville. We’re almost through October and it’s officially holiday time. And that means it’s most definitely the start of candy season. It’s about to be in your face for the next two+ months. If you want to indulge in a snickers or reese’s every now and then, I say go for it! Live your life! BUT, it can be easy to go overboard and you’ll see indulging every now and then turn into a fist full of holiday candies or seventeen caramel apples in a day.
Are you a bun person or nah? I used to think I was so when I first went Paleo, I was really missing burgers with buns and turkey sandwiches. Oh my god, especially turkey sandwiches. I’d love to say that feeling went away after a few weeks, but that’s total crap.
One of my favorite aspects about living in Chicago is the access there is to a huge variety of fitness studios and classes. I absolutely love trying out new studios and finding workouts and instructors I love. But it can get expensive.
